Vontier offers helpful benefits that allow you time to relax, recover, care for family members, honor personal commitments, and more.
Vacation
You are eligible for paid vacation time if you are regularly scheduled to work 20 hours or more per week. The length of time you can take each year depends on your years of service. You can request more information about vacation time from Human Resources.
Personal Floating Holidays
Regular full-time employees may be eligible to take paid personal floating holidays each calendar year. Personal floating holidays can be used for religious or other personal reasons. Programs vary by operating company. You can request more information about personal floating holidays from Human Resources.
Holidays
Generally, Vontier provides paid holidays each year, however, observed holidays may vary by operating company. You can request more information about company holidays from Human Resources.
Sick/Disability
For any planned surgeries or unexpected illness or injury, Vontier provides you with time to rest and recover, or receive treatment.
- Sick time – Regular full-time employees are eligible for paid sick days. Programs vary by operating company. You can request details from Human Resources. Unused sick days cannot be carried over to the next year and they are not paid out upon termination.
- Short-term disability – Employees needing more time can transition to company-paid short-term disability (STD) coverage. Vontier's short-term disability coverage provides you with a percentage of your weekly salary for a certain number of weeks, up to a weekly maximum. Plan provisions may vary by operating company. Please check with your local HR department for the benefits that apply to you.
- Long-term disability – For longer illnesses or injuries, company-provided long-term disability (LTD) coverage provides benefits after you have been disabled for 180 days. LTD insurance (for non-union only) pays 50% of your salary, up to a maximum of $4,166 per month. All eligible employees may also choose to purchase additional long-term disability insurance to replace up to 60% of your salary.

Bereavement
In the unfortunate event of the death of a family member, you may take paid time off for bereavement, depending on the deceased’s relation to you. You can request more information about bereavement leave from Human Resources.
Family & Medical Leave
The Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA) provides eligible employees the opportunity to take up to 12 or 26 weeks of unpaid, job-protected leave per year for certain reasons, such as having a baby or caring for a sick family member. In most cases, your FMLA leave will run concurrently with any paid disability benefits, pregnancy disability, and/or parental leave. You can request more information about FMLA from Human Resources.
What is FMLA for?
FMLA leave may be taken for the following reasons, up to the durations noted:
New baby
Birth of a child, or to care for a newborn/adopted/fostered child (12 weeks)
Your own or a family member’s health condition
A health condition that makes you unable to perform your job, or to care for an immediate family member who has a serious health condition (12 weeks)
Military service member needing care
To care for a covered service member with a serious injury or illness related to certain military service (26 weeks)
Family member’s active duty
To handle certain qualifying exigencies related to your spouse’s, son’s, daughter’s, or parent’s active duty in the Uniformed Services (12 weeks)
Please note: You will continue to be responsible for your portion of your benefit premiums while on leave.

Parental leave
All regular full-time employees, including the non-birthing parent, are eligible for up to six weeks of paid parental leave at 100% of base salary. This leave allows you to bond with and care for your newly born or adopted child and may be taken in one-day or one-week increments any time in the 12-month period following your child’s birth or adoption.

Personal Leave
If you have exhausted your vacation time, you may be able to take an unpaid leave of absence for nonmedical personal matters, including family matters not covered under Family and Medical Leave. You can request more information about personal leave from Human Resources.
Military Leave
To support your service to your country, you may be eligible for an approved leave of absence consistent with the requirements of the Uniformed Services Employment and Reemployment Rights Act of 1994 (USERRA). You can contact Human Resources for more information about military leave.
Leave of Absence Process
See the LOA Overview for more information about the process for requesting a leave of absence. As early as possible, notify your manager and Human Resources of your need for a Leave of Absence. Discuss any requirement to use paid time off for income replacement, such as vacation, sick time, or disability leave. You may contact Unum at 866-779-1054 for information and leave coordination.
Jury Duty
If you are called to jury duty or subpoenaed to serve as a witness, you can receive up to five days of base pay for time off to meet your civic obligations. Contact Human Resources for more information about jury duty leave.
Witness & Victim of Crime
If you are a witness to or victim of a crime, you may take time off to appear in court as a witness to comply with a subpoena or other order.
You may use any accrued vacation, floating holiday (if applicable) and/or any available paid sick time while attending judicial proceedings relating to a crime. Otherwise, the time off will be unpaid, consistent with applicable law. Contact Human Resources for more information.
Voting
Vontier provides up to two hours of pay to support employees voting in municipal, county, state, or federal elections including primary, general, or special elections.
Volunteering
Vontier supports involvement in community causes that matter to you by offering paid time off each year to spend volunteering with a local charity. We also team up to dedicate a full working day to improving our communities around the world for our annual Vontier Day of Caring. Every year, our teams around the world dedicate a day to supporting the causes they care about in their local communities. Team members can choose their own Day of Caring activity or serve with a group. From packing meals for hungry kids to keeping streets clean, we’re giving back and working together to create a better world.
